KING OF CUSTOMS
The "King of Customs" recognizes show cars like the custom Barris. Winfield, and Bailon Mercs. along with fat fendered coupes of the 40's. The terms you will most often see associated with these automobiles are modifications called "frenching, nosing, decking, tunneling, chopped, tuck and roll:' We honor these contributions of automotive creativity with the "King of Customs" award. The contenders of this award will be vehicles manufactured from 1941 to 1972. Most feature radical body modifications and special attention to finer detail.
